1 Chron 12:32.
”Men of Issachar, who understood the times, and knew what Israel should do-200chiefs,with all their relatives under their command;”
Everybody wants to reign in this life. This is good, and really, that should be your portion in life.(Rom 5:17).Yet I find that very few people, rise up to the place of rulership. This is simply because, just a handful of people have the insight and understanding that is required to rule. Trust me, people will only follow you, when you demonstrate a clear understanding of your vision and direction in life.
Here are a few examples of biblical characters who ruled by insight.
- The men of Issachar.
I find it rather revealing that these men were very few, just about 200 of them, as compared to the thousands from other tribes. Yet their understanding of what to do in every situation, made them rulers over their relatives. - Joseph, the dreamer.
Pharaoh, the king of Egypt considered Joseph to be best suited as his second in command over all Egypt, since it was Joseph who had been able to discern the problem at hand and given directions to save the situation. (Gen 41:39-40). - Daniel the ruler.
In Daniel 5:14, King Belshazzar confessed “I have heard that the spirit of the gods is in you, and you have insight, intelligence and outstanding wisdom”. It comes as no surprise then, that Daniel ruled under five successive kings in Babylon.
Dear friend, my prayer for you today is that you receive insight as to the times we are in and gain understanding of what exactly you have to do.
Jesus commended Peter, “Blessed are you Simon son of Jonah, flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, … I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven…” Matt 16:17-19.
Catch a revelation today and rule in the midst of your enemies!
